We just got home from an amazing trip to Prescott. We were only there for a few days but it was incredibly relaxing. There's just something about being away from home that is absolutely lovely! Our first day there I packed us all a yummy lunch and we went for a hike. Lucas slept through the whole thing!
Jaycie and Elliot did a lot of exploring together and went places that me and Lucas could not (well, according to her).

Lucas is smiling pretty much on demand these days. We don't even have to work for it, he just sees a human and grins! It's so adorable. He had a first on this trip - he LAUGHED! It was too cute. Jaycie was kind of teasing him with his binkie around his mouth and he was loving it so much that he let out a little giggle! Music to my ears and something I will never forget.
Jaycie was the fire-keeper. Always adding pine needles and giving it some air. We had a fire every night and I think it was the highlight for her. I guess fire-keepers don't wear pants!

fun trip! i love those quick trips. It is so cute to see Jaycie and Lucas together. Siblings share a special bond. I love watching Kyler and Hayden's relationship.

I love it up there! Although, it would have handy to have a pantless firekeeper along for the ride. What a funny girl! I can't wait to hear Lucas' sweet laugh.
